The California Association of Mortgage Professionals (CAMP) started the New Year with a renewed focus on building business. We are determined to provide members and other mortgage professionals with motivation, tools, and resources to do their job and thrive.
To highlight our dedication to building business and success, CAMP hosted its annual Lender Fair in Newport Beach, California from January 30th through February 1st. This event was jam-packed with motivational speakers and informational panels on how to create and grow business. Topics ranged from personal development, niche markets, marketing, and even the ever-changing regulations that face the profession on a daily basis.
CAMP also offered training that actually kept people in their seats all day long. The well-attended compliance training was formatted with panels and mock interview, which keep the students engaged in the class. For individuals who were new to the profession and wanted to learn the basics, BOOT CAMP was an amazing opportunity. Students sorted through mock loan documents, ran calculations, and walked away with a lot of best practices to apply in the real world.
The energy and number of individuals at the event was a great sign of what’s to come in the industry. It is evident from the filled expo hall, meeting rooms, and reception that the profession is on the mend. People were networking, learning, and enjoying good times again. CAMP will continue to focus the association on helping the profession and its members build business.
