Membership Classification

CAMP memberships are individual memberships and owned by the applicant, except for the Statewide Industry Partner and Banker Broker category. CAMP’s membership is for one year from the date dues are received and is renewable annually. With this application and payment, you are applying for membership in CAMP, which includes membership in a Chapter of your choice. CAMP members may choose to also join the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB). NAMB membership may be purchased for an additional $50 for a Silver NAMB membership or $120 for the Platinum NAMB membership for each representative. Membership duration:

Professional - Owners, managers or the broker of record for their companies, whose primary business is loan origination. These individual must be licensed and in good standing with the California Department of Real Estate. Professional members have voting privileges and may serve on the State Board of Directors. Associate Member - Loan originators, loan officers or loan consultants whose primary business is mortgage loan origination and who is not the owner, manager, or broker of record. Associate members have voting privileges, but may not serve on the State Board of Directors. Individual membership.

Support Staff Member - Members are non-licensed individuals that perform administrative, processing, clerical type duties for a Professional, Associate or Affiliate Member. Support staff members do not have voting privileges and may not serve on the State Board of Directors, but may serve on CAMP committees. Individual membership.

Affiliate Member - A member whose primary business is to support and/or provide ancillary services to those in the mortgage profession. Affiliate members do not have voting privileges and may not serve on the State Board of Directors, but may serve on CAMP committees. Individual membership.

Broker/Banker - Company Mortgage Loan Origination Offices that is comprised of one primary Professional member, and up to 39 additional Affiliate members, whose primary business is loan origination. Additional Affiliate members may be added at a cost of $60 each. One NAMB Platinum membership may be added for $120 for the primary Professional member, and $50 for each Affiliate member for a NAMB Silver membership. Company is responsible for maintaining their list of members and updating quarterly with the CAMP state offices. Once you have successfully signed up the primary member online please submit your membership list to info@ca-camp.org.

Statewide Industry Partner - Affiliated businesses whose primary purpose is to support and/or provide ancillary services in the mortgage profession and would like a statewide presence. Membership includes a total of 39 Affiliate members, plus one primary Associate member. Additional Affiliate members may be added at a cost of $60 each. Membership includes one NAMB Silver membership for the primary Associate member. Additional NAMB Silver memberships may be purchased at $50 each. Company is responsible for maintaining their list of members and updating quarterly with the CAMP state offices.
